When using the Iron Mike pitching machines next to Field 1 at College Park and on the 3rd base side at Griffith Park, please do the following:

1. Please refrain from adjusting the machines unless you are a competent machine adjuster.  The manual is available for download below.  The rubber dimple balls provide true flight and pitch consistency.  Only use the rubber balls when adjusting the machine.  Baseballs will drift and break depending on the seam position and how worn out they are.   The machines have been pre-adjusted at approximately 50 +/-mph college, 60+/- mph for Griffith.
2. Leave the machine pre-adjusted for batting practice after use.
3. Do not remove the balls from the cage.
4. Pick up the balls place in the hopper and cover the machine when finished.
5. Take your time with the cover so it doesn't tear.  Two people is recommended.
